"WHERE YOUR SATISFACTION ALWAYS A MUST"
The name of the business, M&M's Printing & Publishing PLUS, is not haphazard – there is a history behind
the name. It originated from the “first-name initial” of Blake's two children, Marquis Blake (21) & Majesty
Blake (9), born in her former marriage to Charlie Blake, Jr. Her children are miracles in their own way and are
living testaments to the power of prayer, and the faithfulness and miraculous power of God as detailed
below:
Marquis (“Boo”) Blake was born Sunday, August 17, 1986 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center under the
care of the late Dr. Sterling A. Roaf. With various complications during labor and delivery, everyone had to be
dismissed from the room (except Blake’s mother) because the lives of a mother-and-child were at risk. But
after a prayer meeting with the staff in Labor & Delivery, led by her mother (Bea Jones), they both lived!
However, Marquis was born with so many health complications that he was not expected to live throughout
the night (according to the doctors). Blake was told that if he did live through the night, he would be ill for the
rest of his life…well the power of prayer had already changed the doctor’s report! The report of the
Lord is that Marquis is now 21 years old and he has never had another sick day in his life!
Majesty Blake was born twelve years later on Saturday, September 12, 1998 at Jefferson Regional Medical
Center under the care of the late Dr. Sterling A. Roaf. Labor was approximately twelve hours long, with no
apparent complications initially. However, the staff began to detect strange behavior from Majesty, which
appeared to be seizure activity. After blood was detected on a small portion of her brain, medications were
administered (including Phenobarbital) during her stay at the hospital throughout the duration of four months,
with increased dosages, as well as a referral to a neurologist. Then came GOD’S Report (AGAIN)...
Another Miracle! In the month of January 1999, during a deliverance service in Little Rock, AR, Prophet
Leonard Ford (Reality of the Gospel Ministries) laid hands on Blake, prayed and spoke over her life by the
Holy Spirit, that God was giving her baby a miracle (who was at home in Pine Bluff, AR) and that God’s
healing anointing was traveling through her bloodstream, nervous system, lungs and ears...She remembers
feeling like the centurion in Matthew 8:5-13 whose servant was at home sick. He didn’t feel worthy for
Jesus to come to his house, but asked Him to “speak the word only,” knowing that his servant would be
healed…well Blake can relate to the centurion. She’s a living witness that there is no distance in
prayer (Psalm 107:20)! The report of the Lord is that Majesty is now 9 years old and hasn’t had another
seizure since!
In her own words, Blake boldly proclaims: “TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE HAS DONE!
Whenever the name of the business is uttered, it will forever serve as a memorial to the things that God has
done in our lives and to the reality of M&M’s Printing & Publishing PLUS (a fifteen-year old vision that, although
has tarried, has surely come)! My prayer is that this testimony will build faith and hope to the many dreamers
and visionaries out there, and encourage them to keep on walking toward their dreams. I know that just as
the hand of God has consistently rested upon us, it shall continue to rest upon the business and all that we
put our hands to. This is the beginning of the “new” beginning! Thank God, and thank you Pine Bluff
and surrounding areas, for allowing us to serve you at M&M’s Printing & Publishing PLUS, “Where YOUR
